Oh, that. Sorry, dude, still causes cancer, probably moreso than regular meat, it’s a massive waste of money when you could feed hundreds of people vegan food for the same amount they spent on that one burger and I’d be willing to bet that their methods of getting to stems cells isn’t very vegan. Plus, the fact that there is no outcry about the sanctity of life from those who would be up in arms if this was a human stem cell demonstrates the inherent anthropocentrism involved. Just eat some got dang spinach.

(I think I talked about this a few days ago and gave a really half-assed answer that didn’t really address anything about it. I remember being disappointed with it then but I never bothered to fix it, so this is my real thought on the subject.)

  1. hands-life said: In order to make these burgers they still need a supply of cows, of whom they can harvest the stem cells. All this would really do is cut the amount of cows used for meat production. So it wouldn’t actually be Vegan. Also Vegans don’t eat meat.
