Shame poor people and people with chronic health problems? The concept of shaming as you and I understand it (slut shaming, for example) is shaming a person because of X because they think X is something shameful. I’m not shaming anyone for being poor or for being sick, that’s fucking absurd. I’m shaming them for being anthropocentric, just like I shame every fucking body else for being anthropocentric. I’ve even written about how those in situations where they actually cannot be vegan, it’s important to at least fervently advocate veganism for a myriad of reasons, including easier access to food.

And bossing around rape victims? Are you fucking serious, dude? This doesn’t tell anyone what to do, it highlights the absurdity of someone saying (which, by the way, this is the context that you never had and it’s the missing piece that caused you to have no idea what the fuck you’re talking about) that if someone is sexually assaulted that community-based forms of justice should be replaced with “just going to the police”, which is ridiculous because of the overwhelming failure rate of the justice system with regards to violent sexual crimes. A person can do whatever they want to handle their situation, but to dance around the fact that cops rarely give a fuck about reports of rape is pointless if not regression and instilling that idea into those who may be raped in the future is ensuring a cycle of misinformation and eventual disappointment, a cycle I’m personally invested in ending.

So, I’ll ask again, what the fuck are you talking about?
